AMC BRIEFING
AMC Joins Oracle-PeopleSoft Customer Advisory Board for Enterprise Service Automation (ESA)
In mid 2006, AMC Infomediaries was selected to join the new Oracle-PeopleSoft Customer Advisory Board for the PeopleSoft ESA product line, which includes PeopleSoft customers, consulting firms, and the Oracle-PeopleSoft product strategy group. AMC will be represented by President and CEO Mike Castronovo. In welcoming the appointment, AMC Infomediaries Chairman Julian Hilton commented: “We obviously congratulate Mike very warmly on this well-deserved appointment. It is recognition of the important pioneering work AMC is successfully doing in building customer empathy to make the process of implementing complex systems more transparent and more accountable”.
The Oracle-PeopleSoft Customer Advisory Board reviews new features for upcoming releases of the software, and helps to prioritize these features into releases.
AMC will be conducting a use case scenario to review a business process from an "end to end perspective". This would start with strategy/planning and follows through execution to project closure. This example will use alerts, notifications, calendars, etc. to help proactively manage the process, and provide visibility into the process. Mike Castronovo commented: “Customer empathy is a key part of our strategy for success. I think systems implementation in the past has been a black box process for many customers. By using customer empathy we aim to make that black box more transparent, a process which pays off doubly when we get to roll-out because the customer has a much clearer understanding of what to expect”.
The technology layer will use PeopleTools 8.48, Web Services, fusion middleware portal, and BPEL technology. For dashboarding and reporting, it will use the Seibel Analytical Engine, and integration broker for linking systems.
